As a former head of education at an Academy Award-winning studio, Rhythm & Hues, he was involved in the production of movies such as Life of Pi (2012), 2036 Origin Unknown (2018), and, more recently, Rift, an animated movie made entirely using Unreal Engine by HaZimation. Currently, Hussin runs EFXCO Academy, a creative-based training academy in Malaysia, which offers professional training and certification in graphics and motion design, game development, virtual reality, and visual effects. Summary

Congratulations, you have completed the MetaHuman retargeting process! It was a rather lengthy process, but you managed to download a character and mocap animation file from Mixamo, create an IK Rig for the Y Bot, and retarget the UE5 Mannequin and the MetaHuman characters.

As I mentioned, this was just a test project, but more importantly, you now have the knowledge to take any mocap animation files from Mixamo and retarget them for use on any MetaHumans. The key thing is that you do not need to repeat the tedious chain-mapping process or create an IK Rig anymore.

In the next chapter, you will use this workflow on a walk animation we are going to use on our MetaHuman Actors.
