Summary
In this chapter, you learned how to create and modify a data recipe in CRMA, becoming intimately familiar and comfortable with the data recipe visual UI. Now, you should be able to transform the data in recipes using a variety of functions such as buckets, aggregation, and calculations. Additionally, you learned how to join and append datasets using various types of joins such as lookup and outer join. Finally, you should now be confident in outputting data from recipes as a CSV or CRMA dataset.
In the following chapter, you will be introduced to the full capability of the CRM Analytics dataflow editor. This is where, traditionally, the more powerful ETL (extract, transfer, and load) work is performed. You will be instructed on how to combine many sources of data, perform complex transformations and calculations, and create multiple datasets.
