Quality and resolution

Of the different tools that Unity offers, the quality and resolution settings are some of the most important when talking about getting good performance from different computers or devices.

We will take a quick look at both of these settings in order to be able to understand what they are meant to do, and how we will take advantage of their features.

Quality settings

Inside the Quality settings, we will be able to set and/or create different levels of graphical rendering quality. This means that we can set different standards, which Unity will use and perform according to the settings.

By changing the quality settings, we will directly affect the resources we use for rendering and the frames per seconds...
