Going online for real

Up until now, to work on your projects, you have been utilizing an Unreal Engine official release that can be accessed through the Epic Games Launcher. However, if you aspire to enhance your skills in multiplayer development, you must take a further step to proficiently excel in this field and become an adept multiplayer game developer.

The first thing you need to know is that Unreal Engine releases are not “complete” versions of the software; they offer almost all that’s needed to work on your project, but they usually miss less common and more advanced features. One of the main reasons is to keep the regular version of Unreal Engine to a smaller, more affordable size.
