Fixing problems

The secret to fixing problems with Final Cut Pro is to follow the recognized order of trying the simple fixes and progressing through to the more complex ones. It stands to reason that if you can fix an issue with a simple fix, you will save yourself time and effort. After all, video editing is time consuming enough without spending time looking for difficult fixes that can be solved with a couple of mouse clicks.

The order of fixes in the list is important as it relates to the amount of downtime that the fixes are likely to cause. The further down the list you need to progress, the more downtime there will be.

You could be confronted with the dreaded red warning message or an obscure can’t export error message.
