In this chapter, we have configured the policies that define how Windows Intune operates with the computers and the policies it deploys to the users for updates, firewall, and anti-malware. We have also examined the approval process that we will need to follow each month to approve or decline updates that fall outside the automatic approval rules and policies that we have selected.
In the next chapter, we will look at software distribution. This includes both Microsoft software as well as non-Microsoft software, and updates to distributed software too.
