The group management features we have in FIM allow us to work with both static and dynamic groups and also allow users to manage groups by themselves. Deletions are by design difficult to implement since the objects by default remain in the Metaverse as long as a connector exists.
In this chapter, we have seen how the Outlook add-in makes self-service easier when it comes to groups.
In the next chapter, we will look at another self-service feature in FIM 2010 R2, the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).
