Editing 360° footage in a 360° timeline

As with any editing job, you’ll begin by importing your clips. You can use the Media Import window, or drag and drop as you would with any regular footage. Depending on your chosen settings, imported clips will be stored inside the Library, at the Library’s chosen storage location, or be referenced where they are. (Refer to Chapter 3, Bring It In: Importing Your Footage, for more detail on where media is stored.) Each 360° clip will be shown with a small globe (or ball) icon in the top-left corner, and you’ll see this same icon used throughout the app to represent features related to 360° footage:
