Conventions used
There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.
Code in text
: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: "Create a new text layer in auto-width mode (with a simple click) anywhere inside the Login frame and enter Login
."
Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see onscreen. For instance, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in bold. Here is an example: "In the Design panel, you may have noticed a section not yet mentioned, namely Effects. This is definitely a tool that deserves an in-depth study, as with it you can apply various effects to elements such as Inner shadow, Drop shadow, Layer shadow, Layer blur and Background blur."
