After having been part of the creative agency Geko for several years, he later became a partner, creating digital products for well-known brands and running local events for the creative community. He then began his career in education in 2016, at The Guru Lab, teaching students about user interface and web design. In 2019, he decided to face new challenges by deepening his development skills at the Apple Developer Academy, where he specializes in frontend development and publishes various apps and boilerplate. Currently, he works as a consultant for IT projects and teaches at private design schools.

Introducing styles

Well, we've successfully mastered the basics of grids, typography, colors, and effects, but now it's time to learn how to effectively manipulate these tools. And that is what we will practice in this section. As you can imagine, it would be incredibly irrational to apply our chosen font to every text layer in our design. In this hypothetical situation, you risk changing the fonts of every text on all screens in your application if you ever decide to replace the selected font with a different one. To prevent this from happening, Figma provides you with a simple and flexible feature called styles.

Styles in Figma is an incredibly powerful feature that allows you to save and reuse color palettes, fonts, and effect attributes in your design project. This means that you can apply the approved style properties to any element with a single click.
