Part 2 Get Involved: Participate in the Community

Although developing your technical skills is a great step, to have an amazing career, you need to go beyond the technical. Software development is a team effort, and being able to work together with others is a requested skill that puts you at the next level. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go farther, go together (an African proverb). Building a career is playing the long game. We are not here for the fast, short sprint, but long-term unique results.
