Chapter 9, Flow Orchestration

  1. Stages are a collection of steps, whereas steps are specific flows. Stages run sequentially, whereas steps can run sequentially or concurrently.
  2. Orchestration tasks are assigned to users during the Flow Orchestration run. They are available on the lightning record page where the users will be able to complete their work tasks assigned to them via Flow Orchestration.
  3. There are two main types of Flow Orchestration:
    • Autolaunched Orchestration
    • Record-Triggered Orchestration
  4. Work Guide is a lighting component on your record page. Orchestrations let us personalize tasks and action items so that business users can view and complete their tasks on each record page. When there is an interaction step in the orchestration runs, it will create a work item and assign it to a user, queue, or group as defined in the orchestration.
