Chapter 4, Flow Building Blocks, Triggering, and Entry Conditions

  1. An autolaunch flow can be triggered only by a record change, schedule, or platform event.
  2. Autolaunch flow does need a trigger within the flow and runs in the background, whereas Autolaunch flow (no trigger) has no trigger defined within the flow. They are initiated by something else such as a custom button based on user judgment.
  3. Yes and no. Yes, only if your custom button calls a screen flow.
  4. When you click on Actions, they can call only screen flows, whereas the custom button may not call screens.
