Creating markers without rounding
In Logic Pro, we can create regular markers and markers without rounding. The difference between the two is that when you create a regular marker, Logic Pro will place it at the nearest bar and beat, whereas a marker without rounding can be placed anywhere in the ruler without being rounded to the nearest bar and beat.
For this reason, markers without rounding are mostly used in scoring to picture. We will use the spotting notes that have been copied into Logic Pro notes as the pointers for creating markers.
First, let’s open the previously saved Logic Pro session with the Mercedes-Benz Cabrio C 300_BITC.mov
movie file and the imported spotting notes list.
Next, open Global Tracks (shortcut G) and enable the marker track. If the Marker track is not visible, right-click on the movie track and select Marker from the drop-down list.
