Summary

Organizations must avoid the cheap allure of "orphaned analytics"—building one-off analytics that address immediate business needs but lack the data science engineering effort to build composable, reusable, continuously learning analytic modules. The ability to leverage AI to create assets that appreciate (not depreciate) in value the more that they are used is a business and economics game-changer. Let's just open our eyes and take a lesson from Google and Tesla about becoming more effective at leveraging data and analytics to power (or even reinvent) their business models.

If you want to change the game, you need to change your frame.
