To get the most out of this book

You will need to have Tableau Prep Builder installed on your desktop, preferably the most recent version. All exercises in this book have been tested with version 2021.1 on Windows 10 and macOS Big Sur.

Note that Python, R, and RStudio are only required to complete the exercises in Chapter 8, Data Science in Tableau Prep Builder.

If you are using the digital version of this book, we advise you to type the code yourself or access the code via the GitHub repository (link available in the next section). Doing so will help you avoid any potential errors related to the copying and pasting of code.
