Technical requirements

For the best experience, it is recommended that you have a strong PC that meets the minimum requirements described in the first chapter’s Technical requirements section. However, you can work on this chapter with just a mouse, a functional PC setup, and a ZBrush license.

More specifically, it is recommended that you have completed Chapter 2 and have a DynaMesh model available to practice the ZRemesher and ZProject tools. Alternatively, ZBrush’s LightBox library contains many models that could be used with the same effect.

Please note that examples in Chapters 6 and 7 will use the demon bust we started creating in Chapter 2. Skipping the retopology step of this chapter may lead to an unoptimized mesh, which cannot be properly painted and textured in subsequent chapters.
