Deleting an RPT

This recipe shows how to delete an RPT in AD FS.

Getting ready

In an AD FS farm that uses WID, sign in to the primary AD FS server. Sign in with an account that is a member of the Domain Admins group.

How to do it...

Perform these steps to delete an RPT:

  1. Press Start.
  2. Search for AD FS Management and click its search result or run %windir%\ADFS\Microsoft.IdentityServer.msc. The AD FS window appears:

  1. In the left navigation pane, expand the Relying Party Trusts node.
  2. In the main pane, select an RPT that you want to delete.
  3. In the right-hand Actions pane, click Delete, or right-click the RPT and select Delete from the menu. The AD FS Management pop-up window appears:

  1. In the AD FS Management pop-up window, click Yes as the answer to the Are you sure you want to delete this item? question....
