Adding windows, doors, and floors
In this recipe, we will be applying flooring in the house with various textures in each room. We will then be building out the door frames of the house and connecting them to the baseboard. We will finish the recipe by creating window frames and adding glass to the frames. Let’s see how we can do this next.
How to do it…
To start, we will be deleting the room layout parts and text as well as the parts representing the windows and doorways. We will then apply parts with textures onto the floors throughout the house and add floor stops in the doorways to help create cleaner transitions between floor styles. We will then add the door frames using square parts, and then in a similar fashion add frames to the window spaces. We will finish the windows and recipe by adding inner window frames and glass.
