Implementing the ZIA solution across the enterprise

Implementing the customized ZIA solution consists of Planning, Configuration, Pilot, and Production Rollout stages. Let's start by looking at the Planning stage.

Planning

The first stage of implementing a ZIA solution is Planning. Once the enterprise evaluates the various secure web gateway solutions in the market and chooses Zscaler (preferably after a proof of concept), the planning phase begins.

Once the contract is signed with Zscaler, the enterprise should dedicate one or a few resources to serve in the capacity of Zscaler enterprise administrator (EA). The EA is responsible for contacting the enterprise project sponsor and getting the list of all the names of resources from various departments to assist with the project. A Project Manager (PM) should also be assigned.

The enterprise PM contacts the Zscaler PM and account team. A kick-off call is then arranged where all the parties introduce themselves. Recurring...
