Currently, Aaron is a member of ISTE Making It Happen Award; Lego Education Ambassador and Master Educator; PBS Digital Innovator and All-Star; PITSCO Tag Committee; Microsoft Innovator Educator Expert; Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow; Global Learning Mentor (formerly Skype Master Teacher); Minecraft Global Mentor; and Makey Makey Ambassador. Finally, Aaron was a finalist for the Iowa Teacher of the Year in 2014.

Here are a few ideas to consider:

  • How can you add new parts to allow lines to be added to an egg or ornament vertically?
  • Could you add sensors to start/stop the program or perhaps increase/decrease the speed of the motors?
  • What types of creative media can be used to decorate eggs and ornaments? Can you sample various art supplies, brushes, pencils, and markers? Can you add paper or foil and then decorate?
  • Could you add a new piece that holds the pen/marker and decorate the object of your choice?
