Summary


Attitude is the key culprit behind all our failures and mistakes in the hiring process. Everything else is just a chain of outcomes—one leading to another. So, the principal mistake is a casual attitude towards the whole process. Once a recruiter understands and believes in the potential benefits derived from a sound telephone-interview system, a bucket full of problems will evaporate.

Errors in judgment can happen at any stage of the interview.
