One can become a competent telephone interviewer only by doing it. It would be highly impractical to think that every hiring leader could be accompanied by a recruitment mentor during a telephone interview to evaluate the interview performance. It can only be done if the telephone interviewers are able to evaluate themselves using prescribed forms and standard procedures. On the other hand, how could the HR department, without being involved, collect performance-related data for further analysis and presentation? Two activities are needed to be able to regularly monitor whether the training has been implemented in a result-oriented manner:
