A candidate assessment—the end target—can be accomplished if the interview is systematically recorded. The value of recording the interview can never be ignored. Through a series of questions, a recruiter tries to create a holistic image of the person interviewed—both as a person and a professional. The recruiter tries to figure out a person's cultural background; their social and ethical attributes. Furthermore, they inspect things such as teamwork, situation-handling, and decision-making capability. This holistic overview can be divided into smaller components on which the recruiter can form judgments.
