An introduction to multi-clip editing

We can also edit notes of multiple MIDI clips at the same time, within the MIDI Editor.

In Figure 5.33, I selected the legato clip from the Clean Reese track, the clip from the E-Piano track, and the k c hh m clip from the 808 Fairweather track that holds hi-hat notes by holding down the Cmd button and clicking on the desired clips.

You can see in the MIDI Editor that there are three clips selected, which are written in the Clip Detail View, and you can also see the loop braces of the three clips at the top of the MIDI Editor, which can be adjusted individually by clicking on the one that we want to adjust.

All the notes we are displaying can now be moved and edited together, even though they are clips from various tracks.

We can also choose to work with Focus mode, which will allow us to select a single clip for editing while we are still...
