Further learning

We've introduced data visualization. If you are interested in improving your knowledge of this huge topic, Stephen Few and Edward R. Tufte are probably the best authors to consult. Some great books on this topic are:

  • Learning QlikView Data Visualization by Karl Pover, PACKT Publishing. This is a QlikView book but I had a great time with it and the principles are still valid.

  • Information Dashboard Design, Displaying data for at-a-glance monitoring, Stephen Few, Analytics Press.

  • Visualize this The FlowingData Guide to Design, Visualization and Statistics, by Nathan Yau, Wiley Publishing, Inc.
