Temporal Data

Data that depends on time and where time is recorded explicitly is referred as temporal data. For this kind of data, time is an inherent dimension and is always attached to the data. For example, suppose we have a dataset that has records of the rate of ice melting over the last five years in Greenland.

Let's look at the following dataset:

As we can see, time is an inherent component of this kind of data.
