Integration tests

Integration tests verify the interactions between different components or services in your application. This can include tests for one service interacting with another service, or one service interacting with many services. Overall, these tests ensure that the integrated system functions correctly as a whole. They also typically require more setup than your unit tests and take a bit more time to implement. These tests intend to validate the collaboration and communication between various parts of your application.

Integration tests play a crucial role in ensuring that the different components of your system work together seamlessly. They help uncover issues related to data flow, application programming interface (API) integrations, database interactions, and other collaborative aspects that may not be apparent during unit testing. These kinds of tests are important for detecting problems in real-world scenarios where components interact with each other.
