Summary

Power Automate lets users automate business processes with a low-code approach. It can run tasks in the cloud or on a PC, targeting repetitive or time-consuming tasks and thereby freeing users from performing them manually. This automation can be executed through cloud flows, which are similar to batch jobs in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, but with the added versatility of not just running processes on a schedule.

In addition to standardizing and automating workflows, Power Automate can enhance integrations with third-party services. It achieves this through an extensive collection of connectors, sparing us from developing X++ code. This functionality allows for more efficient changes to processes, reducing the time required for updating the code, releasing it to a sandbox environment, testing, and scheduling the production update. Thus, Power Automate acts as a rapid and adaptable intermediate layer, reducing the reliance of your processes on X++ code modifications...
