Python

Python was designed and created in the late 1980s by the Dutch programmer Guido van Rossum as a successor to the ABC language. The main design philosophy behind the language is code readability.

While developing the language, van Rossum enjoyed the British comedy group Monty Python and decided to name his new language after them.

The popularity of the language has grown exponentially over the last few years, and it is now ranked as one of the most popular languages out there.

It is a general-purpose language that can be used for most types of applications. The common uses for the language include the development of web applications and use in data science. As it is considered one of the easiest programming languages to learn for beginner programmers, it is often used as an introductory language.
