Getting started with Google Cloud AI Platform

There are a few things you can do with Google Cloud AI Platform, including creating notebooks and Kubeflow pipelines, or starting up a pre-installed VM. Kubeflow, an ML framework for Kubernetes, is a simple-to-learn workflow management system with excellent performance when building ML pipelines. This can be seen on the Get started with Cloud AI Platform home page shown in the following figure:

In order to start with AI Platform notebooks, navigate to http://cloud.google.com/ai-platform-notebooks where you will see the screen shown in Figure 8.9.

This is the starting point for building an AI Platform notebook. Click on the Go to console button to navigate to the Platform console as shown in the following figure:
