In-App Guidance

In-App Guidance is not an automation tool, but it can be set up to provide in-app information and prompts on how to use Sales Cloud at the time Users are accessing the screens where actions should take place. It is uniquely positioned to present Users with helpful information right at the point when they need it.

In this section, we explore why you should use In-App Guidance and some of its common Sales Cloud use cases.

Why use In-App Guidance?

In-App Guidance offers just-in-time information for Users as they use the system. Once the prompts are created, they can be activated periodically to remind Users of system usage best practices.

With the standard Sales Cloud license, it is possible to have three In-App Guidance prompts running at any given time.
