Summary
Understanding the different services available through the Google Cloud platform, their core functions, and why they would be used is important in order to prepare for the Google Cloud Digital Leader certification exam. When going through the questions, often you will be asked what service is the most appropriate based on a set of circumstances and business needs.
Being able to define and differentiate when one service would be used rather than another will be critical in attaining the certification, particularly as we go into the next chapter, which will be focused on the Google Cloud services that are used for ML and artificial intelligence (AI).
You can almost think of ML or AI as automated data science, where algorithms are trained to make decisions or predictions based on historical data. If the data the model is trained on is not properly managed, sanitized, and organized, the quality of the model will suffer.
