Setting up the bank databases

We need to set up databases for both Bank A and Bank B, which will hold the customer data and transaction data. I'm using a postgresql database for the same. Feel free to use MySQL or any other database that you see fit for your purpose.

If you are not using postgresql , jump to the sub-section on creating the bank databases.

Installing postgresql

To install postgresql on Ubuntu, use apt install, as shown in the following code snippet:

$sudo apt install postgresql postgresql-contrib

For CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), use the following commands:

$sudo yum install postgresql-server postgresql-contrib
$sudo postgresql-setup initdb
$sudo systemctl start postgresql
