Describe the Ways You Can Extend Microsoft Teams by Using Collaborative Apps

Third-party apps are often critical to an organization’s day-to-day operations. Hundreds of first- and third-party apps can be integrated right into the Teams client via bots and connectors. For example, users can use connectors and webhooks to get data from social media sources such as Twitter and post content directly to Teams conversation channels, or incorporate data from their sales pipeline tools.

With these integrations, users can accomplish their work using these apps without leaving the Teams client. Figure 4.22 shows the Apps tab, which can be used to add and configure these tools:

The ability to access apps can be managed from the Teams admin center (TAC). Organizations can also build and deploy their own apps within Microsoft Teams.
