Some prerequisites

To make this chapter a lot smoother, we will skip the contents that aren't directly related to customizing the process template. The following is a list of things that you need to set up before going through this chapter so that you do not have to create them when you reach the part of the chapter that would assume that the setups already exist:

  • Visual Studio 2015 should be installed and connected to TFS 2015

  • You should have a local empty Git repository (it's not a requirement that this be connected to TFS)

  • Your favorite XML editor; mine is Visual Studio Code (https://code.visualstudio.com)
