Technical implementation details

We will now cover the specific integration web services and explain how the Oracle BPEL Process Manager is used both as an orchestration engine and integration service bus. We will not go into great detail on the Oracle database technology, legacy data adapters, COBOL application adapters, and MQSeries adapters as there are more than enough white papers, documentation, and viewlets (step by step interactive product demonstrations) on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) web site. We will go into detail on the BPEL process flow used in this POV as the functionality is obviously unique to this project. Each of the following sections will discuss the processes in the BPEL process flow implemented in the POV.
