Configure Recovery plans

With the failover capability in ASR, you can failover a single machine to Azure or to a secondary site, or use a recovery plan to failover multiple machines to a target location. With recovery plans, you can sequence and customize the failover and recovery of multi-tier applications that run on multiple VMs. Recovery plans in ASR are used to determine which machines fail over and the manner in which they failover and start up together. Scripts for automation, runbooks, and manual actions can be added to a recovery plan. With this said, it is quite evident that recovery plans are a very important aspect of the failover process in ASR because they enable you to effectively build in or define a failover strategy for your applications.
