Summary

We described the need for a companion handheld app and stepped through creating an Android Wear virtual device and pairing a handheld device with it. We then created a new Today app that pulls content from a public feed page via the companion app and pushes results to the wearable device.

In the next chapter, we will introduce context-aware notifications and voice interactions, which power a rich user experience with Android Wear.
