In this chapter, we saw the steps to install the Java engine into Jupyter. We saw examples of the different output presentations available from Java in Jupyter. Then, we investigated using Optional
fields. We saw what a compile error looks like in Java in Jupyter. Next, we saw several examples of lambdas. We used collections for several purposes. Lastly, we generated summary statistics for one of the Iris
dataset points.
In the next chapter, we will look at how to create interactive widgets that can be used in your Notebook.
