Evaluating the present business requirements

There can be one or many reasons why a business is looking to extend their on-prem AD to Azure AD. The most common reasons can be as follows:

  • Use of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications
  • Cloud migration
  • Features
  • Security

  • Use of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications: This is one of the most common reasons for an organization to start using the Azure AD hybrid model.
