The Kubernetes project is really quite large, so large that it is nearly impossible for any single person to track all of the efforts, evolution, projects, and interests that are going on within the project. To attempt to provide guidance, the Kubernetes project has set itself up with a number of groups to focus on these interests in the form of Special Interest Groups, or SIGs.
