Securing IIoT translates to establishing end-to-end trustworthiness. In addition to information security, trustworthiness relies on resilience, safety, reliability, and privacy. IIoT security governance policies must be designed to ensure adequate trustworthiness, by converging IT security understanding and domain-specific OT expertise.
