The different types of flows

Power Automate offers five types of flows to provide organizations with as many options as possible. Each of these types aims to solve specific scenarios.

Automated cloud flow

These cloud flows are executed when a specific action triggers them, for example:

• When a new email arrives in Gmail
• When a new tweet is posted on Twitter

You can build solutions around them, such as:

• When a new email has the word “invoice” in the title, extract the attachments and copy them to the Finance SharePoint document library.
• When a new tweet is posted, send the content to AI Builder for sentiment analysis, and then send a Microsoft Teams notification to the marketing department if the result is negative.

Instant cloud flow
