Claude Code enables developers to build AI-powered applications by combining intelligent coding assistance with agentic development workflows. This course provides a practical, hands-on introduction to Claude Code, guiding you from installation and project setup through building, managing, testing, and deploying real-world applications.
You will begin by installing Claude Code, configuring your development environment, and exploring project initialization, prompting modes, sessions, slash commands, context management, permissions, and built-in tools. As you progress, you will work with instruction files, skills, hooks, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Supabase integration, plugins, subagents, agent teams, specification-driven development, the VS Code extension, GitHub CLI, and the Claude Code desktop and web experiences. Throughout the course, you will build applications, manage version control with Git and GitHub, integrate data with Supabase, test your projects, and deploy them to Vercel.
By the end of the course, you will be able to use Claude Code confidently to develop AI-assisted applications, organize efficient development workflows, leverage agentic features, and deliver production-ready projects using the tools and workflows covered throughout the course.
This course is designed for software developers, full-stack developers, backend developers, frontend developers, AI application developers, prompt engineers, DevOps engineers, technical architects, software engineering students, and technology professionals who want to build AI-assisted applications using Claude Code. It is also suitable for developers looking to improve productivity through agentic workflows, project automation, and modern AI-powered development practices.
