VPCs help you isolate AWS EC2 resources, and this feature is available in all AWS regions. A VPC can span multiple availability zones in a region. AWS VPC also helps you run hybrid applications on AWS by extending your existing datacenter into the public cloud. Disaster recovery is another common use case for using AWS VPC. You can create subnets, routing tables, and internet gateways in VPC.
