Summary

To sum up, an audit report contains all the information about an audit, including its NC items, observations, findings, and other remarks.

The term audit completion refers to all of the essential activities that need to be finished before audit findings can be decided on and the audit processes can be brought to a close.

During an audit’s follow-up phase, you’ll deal with all of the findings, implement any necessary corrective and/or remedial activities, and make sure everything went according to plan.

As in the case of any business function, constantly trying to improve can only ensure the success of ISMS. As your ISMS matures or as you introduce a new process, you will be expected to revise your controls and rules to account for the resulting improvements. Your program will only be successful if you can pinpoint weak spots and fix them before they cause any problems.
