Using AWS Trusted Advisor for recommendations
In this recipe, we will learn to use Trusted Advisor. Trusted Advisor is an online tool in AWS that provides recommendations related to cost optimizations, performance, security, fault tolerance, and service limits.
Getting ready
We need a working AWS account, and a user as described in the Technical requirements section.
How to do it...
We can use Trusted Advisor as follows:
- Go to the Trusted Advisor service in the AWS Management Console. We should see the Recommendations categories and basic recommendations on the dashboard landing page, as shown in the following figure:

- Click on Security from the left sidebar to see recommendations related to security.
