Summary
Well, we've come a long way in this chapter! You took your design from a specification and some drawings to a running MVP of the application that already covers the basic functionality you need. You learned about basic Ttk widgets, such as Entry, Spinbox, Combobox, Radiobutton, and Checkbutton, as well as the Tkinter Text widget. You learned how to assemble these widgets into a complex but organized GUI using nested LabelFrame widgets, and how to save a file using a callback method.
In the next chapter, we're going to utilize classes and object-oriented programming techniques to clean up our code and expand the capabilities of our widgets.
