Data CSA
A data CSA is responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions using traditional tools, as well as cloud-native capabilities. When cloud computing was first presented to users, most data solutions were traditional relational database storage solutions or object storage services. Today, a data CSA might work with NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data exploration tools in addition to the early services and products. In the shared responsibility model, the data CSA will focus on information and data, as well as application integration, as indicated in Figure 2.4:

Not only will a data CSA work with data services and products, but their responsibilities also include analyzing, planning, and defining data architecture frameworks, including security, reference data, metadata, and master data.
